Selecting more, with less effort

Ever hold the shift key down and then use the arrow keys to select something so you can delete it, or cut or copy it?

If you’re selecting a lot of text, this can take awhile. That’s where today’s tips come in…

Ctrl-Left/Right arrow will move the cursor back or forward one word instead of one character.

Shift-Ctrl-Left/Right arrow highlights a whole word instead of just one character.

Ctrl-Backspace will delete a full word at a time instead of a single character.

Try it! But don’t delete anything too important. 😉

Happy Tuesday!
